If you have a dog in the house, you have to protect your dog from various household chemicals in the house. These toxins or chemicals could make your dog extremely sick or even kill him.
Protect your dog from medicines in the house. Medicines such as Tylenol, ibuprofen etc. are in every household. If a dog ingests these medicines, it can cause liver or kidney failure. Puppies or dogs should not have access to these medications. All the medicines must be at least higher than four feet from the floor and counters. A dog may easily open the bottom cabinets and lick these chemicals resulting in serious injury or even death. Bleach, Isopropyl alcohol can cause many problems for your dog. When you are cleaning, make sure to block the area so your puppy or dog cannot enter. Also do not use any harsh chemicals to clean the floors since dog usually lick anything they come in contact with. Since dog are more sensitive to chemicals than humans, make sure to dog proof your home.
