During our youth years, skin is tight and does not has any wrinkles or creases. As we age, our skin loses the elasticity which gives our skin a more tighter and youthful glow. We do not have much control over our progressing age but there are some elements , if taken care will improve the appearance of our skin and possibly delay signs of aging for years.

- Sun rays can wreak havoc on our skin, ripping moisture out , leaving skin dry. To combat this problem, use sunscreen with SPF of 15 or higher to make sure that moisture stays inside your skin. From children to seniors ,it’s very important to use sunscreen while stepping out during the day.

- As we grow older, our skin needs more and more moisture. There are many types of moisturizers available in the market. Make a habit of using moisturizer, especially after taking a shower as hot water can also take moisture out from skin. Apply moisturizer before going to bed.

- Another excellent way of keeping your skin hydrated is to drink plenty of water. You will see an improvement in the appearance of your skin once you make a habit of drinking plenty of water instead of sodas. Your skin will become more clearer and you will notice a healthy glow.

- Many foods which we eat and pollution in the atmosphere releases chemicals in our bodies, making our skin age faster. Anti-oxidants are especially important since they protect our skin from harm. You can find them in many creams and lotions in the market. Also consume foods that are rich in vitamins E and C.

- Avoid coffee and alcohol, as these ingredients can dry your skin. Also using too much soap can also contribute to dry skin.
