Since summer is here, you may have heard your child or children complaining of boredom. Parents usually have to to think about new activities to keep their children entertained. Internet has saved a lot of time and money for the parents.

There are many games available online and most of them are free. Kids can easily play these games and parents won’t have to hear complains about being bored. Now-a-days parents can breath a sigh of relief as these games are not only meant for child’s entertainment , kids can also learn variety of new skills which will help when they return to school and also through out their life. You can search for theses games online based on your child’s age.

These games can really help kids who have been struggling with math, English or any other subject. You may also want to give your child a head start by making him/her familiar with new concepts and material before the school opens. Most schools emphasize that kids need to remember that material which they have learned the previous year and so these games can help kids touch base with their previous knowledge and also learn advanced skills.

Young kids as early as toddlers can easily play these games. By doing so they are learning what is computer , keyboard and at the same time they are also learning how to interact with a computer which will definitely help later in life. For added fun, you can play along with your child thus creating a quality time for both of you. It is however recommended that as a parent you must decide how many hours you child can spend in front of the computer. Experts recommend a set number of hours are sufficient for child to spend online. Physical activity is very important for growing minds and bodies and it must not be substituted by being online for extended periods of time.

If you child has played some games online or has been online for those set number of hours, encourage him/her to play some other indoor, outdoor games. You can even create some activities for your kids by introducing them to some new and interesting hobbies.
