There are so many beautiful places in the world. Living in modern cities , we sometimes forget the beauty that mother nature offers. Since summer is already here, you may be thinking about a place to travel just for yourself or may be your whole family. Which ever way it is, these places are sure to make you say “wow” when you see them.
* Grand Canyon, United States- This place has the most awesome scenery.It is located in Arizona,United States.Scientists believe that the canyon was created by Colorado River more than a six million year period.
* Cape Town, South Africa- It is a small town surrounded by huge mountains. One can only marvel at how dominating nature can be. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.This town is located at the tip of African Continent. There are many beaches which welcome many visitors. Also there is wine tasting, dolphin and whale watching as popular tourist attractions.
* The Great Barrier Reef,Australia- It is located off the east coast of Australia and it’s the world largest coral reef. The reef is huge and it covers 300,00 sq.km. One of the most beautiful thing is that this places includes a huge variety of sea life. It is a huge tourist attraction with millions of vistors visiting this place each year.
* Canadian Rockies, Canada- It has the most beautiful mountain landscape,lakes, canyouns, waterfalls, glaciers,caves as well as many fossils.These mountains are ideals for walkers and hikers.
* Taj Mahal, India- This Mausoleum was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the loving memory of his queen, Mumtaz Mahal.It’s located in Agra and is considered a symbol of love for people all around the world. Beautiful white marble was used in it’s creation. Many semi- precious stones were used as it’s indoor and outdoor ornamentation. It’s a huge tourist attraction and a place woth seeing.
* Pyramids, Egypt- These are massive monuments looking like pyramid. There was a lot of curiosity as to how they were built. Egyptions constructed them as tombs for their Pharoahs.The Great Pyramid at Giza took 23 years to complete . They are a major tourist attraction and people from all around the world marvel at how the workers and craftsmen at the time constructed these amazing monuments which have stood the test of time.
* Great Wall of China, China- It was constructed over 2,000 years ago and it took a century to complete. This wall stretches over 4,000 miles and it reflects the capabilities of man.
There are many other places worth seeing such as Pertra-Jordan , Machu Picchu-Peru, Mount Everest- Nepal.
