We all want beautiful hair. People who have straight hair, wish to have curly hair. Others who have curly hair, want straight hair but no one ever wishes to have frizzy hair.

So what is frizz?

Frizz is caused when hair lacks moisture and proteins. If the hair is not trimmed regularly, split ends occur. With time these end start to split and cause frizz. Women all over the world have to deal with this problem. Frizzy hair do not look attractive and that can ruin a person’s day. Places with high humidity, can also make hair frizzy.

Trimming hair every six weeks also helps in reducing frizz but sometimes it becomes necessary to use products available in the market today to help fight frizz. Products such as frizz serum, gloss spray and anti-frizz shampoos are available. Below are some tips which might work for you:

* After using shampoo, use a conditioner as well. They can help smooth frizzy hair.

* While your hair are still wet, use styling products then. If you wait a little long, hair will start to dry and frizz will appear. You can try using mousse in wet hair (if you want to define your curls) since it’s lighter and makes hair softer and smoother than gel. But you can use either of them( whichever suits your hair).

* Once you brush your wet hair, don’t not brush them again as all the curls will become frizz. Also after shower you can use leave-in-conditioner ,that will make your hair less frizzy.

* Longer hair tends to have less frizz. So if your hair is short, you may want to grow your locks.
