By using some of the techniques listed below, you can change the look of your kitchen in fraction of the cost rather than to buy entire cabinets for your kitchen.

1. One way to achieve new look would be to sand your kitchen cabinets and than painting them in your desired color. If you prefer,you could also stain your kitchen cabinets depending on your choice of stain. It can be a light stain or a dark one.If the kitchen flooring is light in color,you may want to use darker color or stain on your kitchen cabinets.

2. You could also do ragging and color washing the cabinets. You can find the materials anywhere and it is easy to do. You could also do decorative painting on the cabinets to give them a fresh look.

3. Paint a flat coat of oil based paint on the cabinets and than wipe it off with a cloth is another way to give a new look to the cabinets. You can wipe off as much or as little,depending on your preference. If you want to keep it darker, apply more coats of oil based paint and than wipe it. This will look beautiful and this simple change will make an enormous change in your kitchen.

4. By giving kitchen cabinets a good cleaning is sometimes all that is needed to give your kitchen a fresh look. If you use a bleaching chemical,the dirt and grime will come off and it will lighten the color of the cabinets.
